What launching a token on Arc really pays

Roughly two thousand tokens an hour are being launched on Arc to collect a share of the trading tax. The wins get screenshotted. So we counted every single launch the chain will still show us — 137,656 of them — and priced a random sample.

The population, stated plainly

Every Argus launch between blocks 21,001,113 and 21,491,746 — 491,766 blocks read, zero unreadable. That is about 69 hours, and it is not a choice: no public Arc endpoint will serve logs older than block 21,000,002. The launchpad has existed since 12 September and that earlier history cannot be read by anyone. So this is not “all time”, and we will not call it that.

From that complete list we took a random sample of 900 and read every fee vault balance. All 900 priced; none failed. A balance is unclaimed fees, so somebody who already withdrew shows less — every figure here is a floor.

We got this wrong once, earlier today

An earlier version of this page gave a median built on whatever our scanner happened to have noticed, and called it “all creator-fee vaults on the chain”. It was not a population we could describe, so the number meant nothing. We withdrew it, then found the reason we gave for withdrawing it was also wrong, and corrected that too. This version exists because someone asked “are you sure?” and we were not.
