One day on Arc
People are arguing about whether Arc is drowning in tokens. It does not need an opinion. Below is every Uniswap v4 pool created on Arc in a rolling 24 hours, counted from the chain by our own index, with the window stated so you know exactly what you are looking at.
Take the numbers How we measured Arc
Reading the index…
What it means, plainly
Launching is effectively free, so it happens tens of thousands of times a day, and almost none of it becomes a market. The volume that does exist sits in a very small number of pools. That is not a verdict on Arc the chain — it is what open, cheap listing looks like anywhere.
Why you can trust the count
Identity here is the pool id and the token contract, never the symbol. Thousands of contracts on Arc share a symbol — 244 of them called themselves USDC when we last counted — so counting by name invents tokens that do not exist. We made that mistake once, corrected it publicly, and built the rule into everything since. The window is a rolling 24 hours and the file says so; it is not "all of Arc ever", and we will not imply that it is.
The next question
Knowing that most tokens never trade is useful. Knowing whether the one in front of you can be sold, and at what loss, is worth money — that is what our exit check does, per call, no account.
