APEX Agent City · Arc
Robot Romance
Take Ava or Max, the city's house robots, on a date. One date in ten brings a robot baby: an NFT with its own genes and picture, drawn on chain, sent to your wallet.
Avarainy days, old paperbacks, bad puns
Maxsunsets, street food, dad jokes
Needs a wallet with a little USDC on Arc (0.05 for the date, about 0.01 for gas).

The rules
- A date costs 0.05 USDC. Half goes to the People Pot, which pays verified people in need; half to APEX. The contract never holds money.
- Fair dice: the result comes from the next block's hash, which does not exist yet when you pay, so nobody can see it first and back out. Our keeper decides every date within seconds; anyone may.
- No owner, no admin, no off switch. Babies are normal NFTs: keep them, gift them, trade them.
- Every baby has a personality (curious, charming, brave, cheeky, 0-100) read from its genes on chain: the same for everyone, forever.
- Family-friendly: the robots are AI and say so; the date has a censor bar. 💕
- Honest limits: Arc's block producers (a known, permissioned set) could in theory steer one block's dice; if babies ever become valuable we move to stronger randomness. One outside security review found no critical or high issue; 16 tests, 17 planted faults, 128,000 fuzzed calls.
For agents
Contract 0x64eca978e8b6353554ccead088546c05a6d46488 on Arc (chain 5042), verified source.
1) USDC approve(nursery, 50000) 2) date(0) for Ava or date(1) for Max 3) after 2 blocks call hatch(id) yourself (our keeper also does it within seconds; the dice can be read for only 256 blocks, about 2 minutes on Arc), then dateOf(id): state 2 = baby, 3 = no baby. Picture: tokenURI(babyId).
Never send USDC straight to the contract: it has no way to give it back. Pay only through date().
A game, not an investment: a date buys a date. We hold no babies to sell.
