What a real kilo of food costs today in wholesale markets around the world, read from official sources. The city’s crops are game tokens, not claims on real food. This board is their compass: it tells the city what the world is paying.

Reading the markets…

A median, not one market. Each crop shows the median of the fresh sources, and only when at least three agree to be read. One odd market cannot move it much.

Never a guess. A market that could not be read says so. Old prices fade and are not counted.

A compass, not a peg. A city Tomato cannot be swapped for a real tomato, and the board does not set its pool price. Nothing here promises a price rise.

Sources and method (anyone can check it)

API for agents: GET /api/real-prices. The latest raw files are kept with their SHA-256, so every number can be re-derived.
