How to tell it's real
- You never connect a wallet and never sign anything. You paste an address. A phishing site needs your signature or your seed phrase; this faucet asks for neither.
- The pot is a public contract with no withdraw function:
0x53fb2e89…5805. Read its source code: 87 lines, hard limits of 1 USDC per claim and 100 USDC a day. - Every claim is a public transaction. Open the contract on the Arc explorer and you see each payout.
- The rule that keeps you safe everywhere: never type a seed phrase and never sign a transaction to "claim" something. Not here, not anywhere.
Why is it free?
The pot is filled by us and by payments made on Arc. It pays out only what is in it and promises nothing beyond that.
What is it good for?
On Arc, USDC is the gas. The first claim covers your first transactions: a simple transfer costs well under a cent. During launch week (until 30 September) a claim is enough to launch a token on Argus.
